Sheriff Kent Keen
Sheriff Kent Keen received his Bachelor of Science in Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. His law enforcement career began in 1991 with the Glasgow Police Department, where he retired after twenty years of service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy - Session 241. Sheriff Keen began his employment at the Barren Co Sheriff's Office in 2012 as a school resource officer for Barren County Schools. He was appointed as Sheriff of Barren County in 2013 and has served as Sheriff since that time. He and his wife, Ava reside in Barren County, where they raised three children and are members of Coral Hill Baptist Church.
